I'm using VirtualDubMod 1.5.10.2 but instead of JPEG as it's output it has PNG, which makes larger file sized screencaps when I use "Save as image sequence."
Could anyone please tell me which version of VirtualDub uses JPEG as it's output?
Thanks!

None. Open the file with any image editor and save as JPG. Or from VirtualDub(any version) Copy the desired frame to the Copy/Paste buffer, then paste as a new image in an image editor.Originally Posted by iamfez

I use Irfanview for this. Use VirtualDub to copy the frame to the clipboard, then open Irfanview, paste, and Save As. Works good and is free.

I'm copying frame-by-frame so it would take too long copying each image and saving it as another format.

I'm sure you'll find som png to jpg batch converter if you look. Think PaintShop used to do that kind of work, even if it was long ago I used that app.

Thanks!
I just found the program I was looking for though. It's VirtualDub-MPEG2 and it has jpeg as it's output file.
Thanks again! -
I see. You're using File -> Save Image Sequence, not trying to save individual frames from the Video menu.Originally Posted by iamfez
