  1. Recently I made a dts 5.1 cd which plays very well on my dvd player. So I had this question.

Can I make a dts 5.1 audio dvd?

I burnt the dts cd with nero by selecting normal red book audio cd format , but what should I do to burn a dvd ? does nero have any way to do it or should I use any other software?

Not the same way as a dts 5.1 cd red book audio format.

You can instead make a dvd-video with for example a still image background and dts sound.

DTS audio Cds are higher quality than most DTS dvds

supports yes 96 kHz audio - but production disk dont use this spec for the most part ..

dts cds are 20bit out of the box - but rare

converting any dvd ac3 or normal cds to any of these formats is of course a waste of time and effort unless you have the master tapes ..

plus you will need a couple grand of software

  6. I have audio dvd creator and I made a stereo dvd with that , plays very well with DPLII Ex but if I try to use 5.1 mode the programme crashes.

I have the encoding softwares but I do not know which dvd authoring programme accepts dts audio stream with blank video

I can make this dvd in DD 5.1 but I feel the performance of dts cd was better so I want to stick to dts ( my personal openion)
