I'm getting an iPod video and am familiar with SUPER for doing other vid conversions. From what I understand only certain MPEG4 videos can be successfully converted into watchable form on an iPod from my various video files. Would you say I would do well to use SUPER with most/all of my conversions? - and if not could you recommend a better/alternative/freeware tool please?
If you think SUPER would be fine to use, which settings would yeald the best results perhaps?
    Many Thanks

Personally, I haven't had a problem using SUPER to convert videos to iPod format. The default is to select the 'Apple - iPod' preset at the top left, then experiment with the other settings. I don't know if it'll allow for the new higher resolution format of iPod video, though.

If I remember correctly, the iPod's rather picky about the video format and properties. I don't remember what they are, offhand, but I believe the specifications can be found on Apple's site.

Actually, SUPER has three MP4 presets (also if I remember correctly): iPod, PSP and a default MP4 profile.

I've read that the iPod takes MPEG-4 or H.264. I've never heard of the latter?
    Thanks for your help Ai
