Lg light-scribe GSA-4166b or GSA-H20L ?

Hello guys from Italy.
I have some questions about this 2 dvd writer.
1- what is the most recent ?
2- what is the better ?
3- what has the best performance or the best caracteristics ?
In Italy the most easy to found is H20L , the 4166B is rare, this means what I think ?
On LG web catalogue this 2 models appear the same , but why there is 2 models and not one ?

The H20L or H20N is the newer version of the 4166B. There is an even newer model (the H22N) that is available in some markets. These models all use Panasonic chipsets unlike the 4163B - 4165B - 4167B - H10A - H10N - H10L models which use Renesas chipsets. We see way more Renesas chip LG's here in the US. Either of the models you mention are very good drives. I would opt for the newer H20L. I don't think you will be unhappy. Good luck.

The H20L is the newer. The 4166B is very good. I have one of these and no problems so far.

The H20L and 4166B use differnt chipsets, therefore you cannot x-flash a 4166B into a H20L

thanks all for interesting and answer.
today the 4166B was cancelled from the web model list of LG Italy web, and remain only the H20L
the model H22 is not available in Italy now , and maybe there's the same for the future , because there is some differences about model available in various contry .
Infact the H20L there isn't present but there is H10L and H22 is not present in Europe , in this moment , but there is only in LG global site.
I think I'll buy H20L and I'm sure that will be a good dvd driver like otherLG models
