Karen Navratil here, I have been recording DVDs on my computer which contain
AVI movies. Each DVD has about 5 to 6 movies. They play great in my Lite-On
Recorder hooked to my TV! However none of the movies has it's title showing so
I can select the movie I want to see. I have to preview each movie before I
find the right movie. The file names on the DVD have the Titles. What am
I doing wrong? - Tks much - Karen

You need to have a ultra divx certified dvd player to do menus for divx. I don't believe liteon has a model like that.
The only other way to do menus for them would be to convert each movie to mpeg2 and then author a regular dvd.Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -
Most dvd players that support divx playback, will open the disc to a file list screen. It will then list the files on the disc for you to choose. Sounds like your model doesn't list the files.

Or you could try ConvertXToDVD2 by VSO software. It will convert all the AVI files with menu to a readable DVD by any player you have.
Works with the ones I have. -
My old LiteOn 2002 has a setting where you can elect to have it give a file list when you put a disk in, or just start playing the first file. It's called "ISO Disk Autoplay".
