I would like to have transitions which better suit the theme. For instance i'm authoring a graduation, and i would like the transition to every menu have a scroll outlined. A menu would zoom in or zoom out to the next menu. A good example of this that i can think about is the old batman series when batman says to the batmoblie and then the batman sign zooms in and zooms out. Something like that

How would i get this done.

Do it in your editor. I never use DLPs transitions. I do motion menus in Vegas because I have complete control, and a wealth of extra tools to work with. I love DLP as an authoring tool, but I rarely use any of the 'bells and whistles', as Vegas and Photoshop do a much better job.

Create you scroll with menu text in a still image program, or even in DLP and then export it. Use Vegas to create the zoom effects using track motion or even pan/crop so you get the zoom from one to the other effect as a video clip.

In DLP, link from menu to clip to menu
