  1. I'm reasonably sure that this is the proper forum for this topic.

    Problem:

    - Rip DVD to hard drive successfully (no errors in DVD decrypter).
    - Open rip folder contents in DVD Shrink successfully.
    - Backup with intention to burn to blank DVD or ISO.
    - Backup encoding process stalls at 0%, crashing DVD Shrink.

Error message: "programming error -exception occurred"

    Programs utilized:

    Ripit4me 1.4.7.0
    DVD Decrypter 3.5.4.0
    DVD Shrink 3.2
    PgcEdit 7.3
    PSL2 plugin ver 2.21 for PgcEdit (psl2_plugin.tcl, FixVTS.exe, crc32.exe)
    VobBlanker 2.1.1.0

    Since the initial failure:

    1. I have tried rebooting my machine several times - no change.
    2. Ran PgcEdit to see if there are other problems with files - none.
    3. Also ran the files through both FixVTS and Vobblanker just to see the results - no change.

Any input you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,

    Bleach Clean

You could just try ripping again using the latest DVDFab Decryptor.
