I'm not sure that Divx MediaBuilder is what I want - too much.
All I want, is to run some sort of Divx Video/Menu so that I can select the video I want to play and play it.
Any ideas?

Divx/DVD players will automatically give you a list of files when you put the disk in the player.

If you have a Divx Ultra Certified player, then DivxMediaBuilder is about your only choice at the moment.
If you have a standard Divx Honme Theatre certified player, you have to use what it gives you.
If you want to play it back on a PC, you can use one of the many (and sometimes free) CD menu building applications to create a menu front end. It will only work in a PC though.Read my blog here.
