  2. Divx Player (that comes with the Divx codec). Or try using DivFix to rebuild the keyframe index.

    VLC is pretty good at viewing damaged/incomplete videos. Part of it's design brief was to be able to view partial downloads.

    I also use VLC. It works well with viewing partial downloads if your download program has a preview feature. It also works with most any video formats without having to install additional codecs.

    You can also sometimes put them into VirtualDub and fix them so they will play, then salvage the usable part of the file.
