Ok I've searched and searched and found very little info on my problem, and not a single topic on these forums.
Basically, Premiere Pro 2.0 doesn't launch on my 32bit Business Vista... No error message, just the splash screen and then it shuts down. I've tried running it in compatibility mode and it's still the same. I have the latest ffdshow, latest video drivers... I don't know what else to do ;(
Any help appreciated.

This has existed for years - at least as far back as Premiere 4.0. We had to rewrite some of our code to accommodate Premiere's broken code....
The simple test for this theory is to uninstall ffdshow and see if Premiere launches successfully.
My understanding is that Premiere Pro 2.0 does run on Vista.John Miller -
It just says:
v2.0
Windows NT6.0, Single Processor detected
Initializing Application...
And then shuts down, no clue there. Is there a crash log or something like that ?
