  1. I've been having extreme problems with Premiere Pro 2.0 and Vista. I'm not sure if its either one, but I've never had so many problems with Premiere before.

When exporting a project longer than 15min. to an .avi file, I always get unknown errors stating that the drive is full, etc. I also have problems capturing video for long periods of time.

Has anyone else had problems with these? I'm thinking of installing XP.

Premiere Pro 2 is not supported under Vista by Adobe ( http://www.adobe.com/support/products/pdfs/adobe_products_and_windows_vista.pdf ). Personally, I have never had a stable version of premiere under any OS, so it could be either, but more likely both.

What are your current computer specs ?
What format are you encoding your video to ?
    Define a long capture ?
Are you writing to an internal or external drive when encoding or capturing ?
Have you installed Service Pack 1 for Vista yet ?

Premiere Pro 2.0 is reported to be compatible with Vista here: http://www.iexbeta.com/wiki/index.php/Windows_Vista_Software_Compatibility_List#Video

But you should install it as 'Run as administrator'.

    lsvtec,
I am not sure what Windows 2007 is. I am current running Premiere Pro 2.0 under Windows XP without any major problem.
