I bet you didn't create chapters. I bet you created titles. What's the difference ?

A title is a single video clip. A chapter is a marker within a title to allow you to jump to a point. Cutting a video into different parts creates a lot of titles, not chapters.

If you have true chapters, then simply starting the video at the beginning will play all the chapters.

If you have created a lot of titles then you will have to author the disc so that title one links to title two etc. These will then play back in order, however depending on the software used, you may get a slight pause between titles.

What software are you using, and which method (true chapters or multiple titles) ?

In DVD Architect, set the End Action for each clip (except the last) to be the first chapter (00:00:00) of the next title.
