I've burned a DVD and it has two chapters. When I play the movie, either on a DVD player or on my computer, the chapters don't play automatically. After each chapter, it goes back to the menu and I have to manually click on the next chapter. I would like it to automatically go to the next chapter on its own.

What program did you use for authoring? This could happen e.g. in TDA if you put videos into separate tracks (titles) and used an option of returning to menu after playing selected track. If so (the parts are tracks, not chapters), then you could select 'play next track' instead at menu creation or put both videos to the same track (=make them chapters - if they are compatible by encoding type) for automatic sequential playback.

Thanks for your answer, but it sounds complicated for a beginner I don't know what program was used because somebody else did it. I only burned it. It's already been created, so how do I fix it? I normally use Nero Vision.

It sounds like you have two titles, not two chapters. You may be able to change the content using PGCEdit so that the titles play sequentially. If not, you will have to extract the video/audio from the disc you have, and author a new disc so that you get the playback you want.

My PGCEdit skills aren't good enough to guide you through, but if you search for PGCEdit posts you will probably find something you can use. You will have to get your hands dirty though - it's not a simple task for the beginner.

Try it. With NeroVision3 I would 'Import' the disc (this my take a while). When it finally shows the contents choose them. You'll now have 2 title sets showing. Merge them (even if you don't one will follow the other with a momentary pause), add chapters (or use auto chapter creation) if you desire and choose no menu (unless you want it). Save to a folder to check the results. In my experience Nero seldom re-encodes DVD compliant files (ConvertX, MainConcept, HCenc produced encodes always work for me). It should go rather quickly if it's not re-encoding.
