Menu turned into a video(.vob) in TMPgenc DVD Author(please help)

I finished my menu, but when I do the output, it turns the menu into a video(When I play it on my dvd player, it goes to the menu for 1 secound and then start the video)

and then when I check the disc, the Menu itself is a .vob file.

How to you prevent this or is there something on the settings?

What you are saying is correct, the menu is a vob. Depending on where it is it can reside in the
VTS as a VTS_01_0.vob or in VTM as a VIDEO_TS.vob.
You may have to configure the ifo settings with PGCEdit or similar to put timers in place to hold the menu for a set time before going to the movie, or of couse hold the menu on until a button is selected.
