I'm trying to convert a PAL encoded MPEG file, but TMPGenc tells me that I've got the evil floating decimal error when I first enter the file into the browser. So it won't even let me start to encode the file! I used the vdub freeze finding program, and it didn't find ANY bad frames!
Help, I've searched through TONS of posts, and the vdub solution was the best method I found.
Another question: Where can I find the pss.mcf file?

use vdub and do a direct stream copy then try the copy, if that doesn't fix it try pulling the audio off using vdub and use that as your audio source in tmpenc.
