  1. Hi, I have an AVI and want to add a sound track to it, either after I convert it to wmv or convert both the sound and the Avi at once to wmv. My question is there a way that I can get the same sound quality (same bit rate) for the sound track after the conversion?? I like to keep the sound quality the same. Im using windows movie maker. Thank you all!

What format is the audio in presently? You can check it with Gspot 2.52 and get the specs of the audio and video. Depending on the format, you can use a freeware program like Audacity to adjust the audio levels, edit it and re-save it all to the same specs as a WAV or MP3 audio. Audacity can also do some filtering if you want to clean up the audio a little.

  3. Thanks Redwudz. My sound track is in mp3 format. I just notice that after a conversion, the audio quality seems less like it's on a lower bit rate. Of course I think it's compressed like the video, but I like to keep it the same if possible. Thanks again.
