can any one help fix fast dvd copy on my mac?

i bought fast dvd copy but the program does not work i dl it then try topen it and it wount open. when i dl it.the file name is fastdvdcopy4.0.4.dmg-3.hqx but each time i dl it the 3 changes to the number of how many i dl so far. so i also look at the faqs on the site it said to rename the file so i did to fastdvdcopy4.0.4.dmg then try to open it it said "the follwing disk images failed to mount" then in the box it said image witch is fastdvdcopy4.0.4.dmg and the reson witch is "not recognized". can anybody help me get it to work because i paid lots of money for it.

The .hqx file is encoded with BinHex. I believe Safari should decode this automaticly in the background, so that you'll end up with a .dmg file. Firefox gives the user a choice to decode the .hqx file with StuffIt Expander (to .dmg) or download to file (as .hqx).
You may decode the .hqx file with StuffIt Expander manually at any later time, of course.
