Tomorrow night will be our first game and I will need to prepare game film after that. I have been having problems with convertxtodvd and getting it to work properly. If for some reason it does not work tomorrow night what would some of you think would be a good fix. I know it will take longer but would this be a good fix?
    Capture with WinDV
    Edit with Vegas 8 Pro
    Author with TMP Author 3
Burn with that program or imgburn.

Is there any steps I have left out. Will I need to encode some place down the road? Thanks.

  2. the encoding to dvd spec is done after editing in vegas. choose render as and save your audio and video files to dvd compliant mpeg-2 and ac-3.

    should work fine.

I can't get the final product to burn with anything except the vista burning engine. I am running vista ult 64bit.

Does Imgburn work under Vista 64 bit ? I know it works happily under standard Vista 32. I never use the built-in burning engines of any authoring tool. They all have them - some of them quite good - but none match Imgburn.

This is a quote from the ImgBurn home page.

"ImgBurn supports all the Windows OS's - Windows 95, 98, Me, NT4, 2000, XP, 2003, Vista and 2008 (including all the 64-bit versions)."
