Hi,
I have split the sound and movie from an XVid movie clip. I have saved the sound as a .wav and the movie as .avi (Using VirtualDub).
I want to re-encode into MPG2 to make a DVD. I have to do it this way becasue of a problem with TMPGenc and AC3 so it will re-encode propely. (Otherwise it gets stuck at 50%)
Normaly there isn't problem. However this time, I load the files into TMPEnc Express 3 but the 'voice' track seems to disapear and all I get is just the background sounds and music.
The .wav files play fine on its own.
Anyone got any suggestions?
Cheers

If you are doing a dvd, you can just demux ac3 audio, instead of converting it to wav.
When authoring, use this ac3 as audio source, and the m2v that gave you Tmpgenc as video source.

Sound is AC3? Get the AC3 plug-in and add the AC3 directly....
or
Convert each clip seperatly and in the authoring stage choose the Xpress video and then add the AC3 soundtrack. TMPGEnc DVD Author will let you do this.
Could your AC3 be a 5.1?
