When I hit copy in premiere and then go to paste it is only bringing over the video track and not the corresponding audio. They are linked together and I can drag them I just can't copy and paste them. Is there a setting I need to change.
Also is there a way for me to slice up a longer clip into shorter clips and bring them back to the bins renamed without resaving the clips and reimporting them?

Q1: It should by default. Make sure you're not pasting over another clip.
Q2: You can create a new Sequence for each trimed clip. Then you can easily add the Sequences from the Bin just like clips.I stand up next a mountain and chop it down with the ledge of my hand........ I'm a Voodoo child.... Jimi Hendrix,
