pasting picture onto video

i might be trying to undertake something way over my head here,
but im making a slideshow for a bunch of buddies of mine from when

we were back in college, its alumni weekend coming up and i was
hoping to make something before then, long time joke that a friend

of mine was obsessed with patrick swayze, so i was thinking how
hard/what would it entail for me to paste a picture of my buddy

on the head of patrick swayze while he does that dance at the
end of dirty dancing? im looking for something free that isnt too

difficult, might be a lost cause but i figured i'd ask for the hell of it.

Very easy to do with something like paint.net or gimp. Just cut around the head from one image, and paste it onto the other. Use layers so you can resize and move the head into position before saving the final image. A rough version should take all of 2 minutes. A clean one might take a little longer.

i want a picture of my buddy pasted into a video. not a picture onto a picture.
