I'm in the process of making several DVDs. The first one I made was fine. The picture I used for the background was a nightime scene and very dark in most areas, but it and all of the text on the screen looked excellent when played back with my set-top DVD player on my television.
When I went to use a different background for the main menu of the next disc I was working on, it was extremely pixelated, as well as the text that linked to the video files (I'm using Sonic DVDit! 5). I could have understood if the image and the text I added to the image in Photoshop were pixelated, but the text that was added using Sonic DVDit! was pixelated as well. This image and the one I used for the first disc were 1280x960 with 72dpi. This image was much brighter, a photo of the ocean. Would the brightness of the photos have anything to do with the pixelation? I used the same settings for both discs, which is why I can't figure out why this one is pixelated.
Thanks for your help.
