  1. My friend recently converted a 99min divx into an mpeg2 witha bit rate of 2500 and the entire movie fits on to 2 80 min cdrs, however when i enter the data into the bitrate calculator provided b vcdhelp, it says that for the movei to fit on 2 80 min cdrs the bitrate of the mpeg2 must be 1900.

    Can anybody explain this?

  3. the final average bitrate must be 1900 (thats assuming no overburning) .. a setting of svcd vbr setting of 2500 will get you somewhere around 1900 most of the time

    so it makes sense

  5. minimum - 1150 would work.. if you use 1900 as minimum the whole thing will be 1900 so gotta start at about 1500 or less
