  1. Alright i dont know what its cause by but i use to love this software until i notice alot of problems it had with encoding. I mostly like it because of its functionality. being able to add mutlple videos with chapters and all that without the program trying to "fix" your video to be dvd compatible. Anyway my problem with the software is that after it changes the video to vobs and add chapters the video lose compatibillity with my dvd players. One of them wont even play the video and the others skip constantly at chapter intervals. Im wondering has anyone ever had these problems and fixed them. Also im wondering is there any other software out there that doesnt "fix"(by fix i mean trying to take 30 minute svcd video and turn it into a 1gb video file.)than tmpgenc dvd author.(this is the only program that i know that has alot oof features and works perfectly on my dvd players.)Dont recomend diko it sucks!bought it and it just doesnt load up any of my video.

  2. I just saw on the svcd website that some problems have been fix with skiping
When creating your DVDs, convert PAL to NTSC (no jerkiness or skipping).
is this the issue im talking about and is it solved

  3. If you are starting with SVCD, not all DVd players are going to be compatible with the output. SVCD2DVD will not turn a true 30 minute svcd file into a 1GB file unless it combines assets under the same VTS, then yes you will get a larger VOB. As to your last question, how can we know if this is your issue? Provide a log file from a problem run.
