    When i burn my xvid movie to dvd+rw n play it in the dvp-642 the audio is really choppy as it skips n cuts, however the video is fine.

    According to Gspot
    0x0055(MP3, ISO) MPEG-1 Layer 3 : audio
    48000Hz 127 kb/s total (2 chnls) LAME3.93a

    It could possibly be VBR audio causing the problem. If you have VirtualDub and load the movie in it, does it complain about VBR audio?
    If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?

    Then you should re-encode the audio to CBR MP3 and IF the audio WAS the problem ... doing this would fix it.

    It is possible the issue is something else though ...

    im doin CBR Mp3 (lame) then remuxing using avi-mux gui wud that work?

    That should work A-OK but it can also be done with just VirtualDub(Mod) but I know some people say that Avi-Mux Gui is perhaps a better way to mux the video and audio anyways so ... there you go!
