    How do i convert an asf audio file to wav?

    newer versions of virtual dub will not do this. That's why you have to use virtual dub 1.3c. Open the .asf in virtual dub then goto audio >> full processing mode. Then File >> Save .wav

    When i'n trying to open the asf audio file in Virtual Dub 1.3c i get an error message, saying "No video stream found".

    I think that ASF is the same as WM8 in that if it doesn't have both an audio and video stream it won't be recognized as a valid media file. - even though you can hear and/or see it in media player.

    I got the same error when I try to use a file in Windows Media Encoder 7.1 that doesn't have both data streams.
