I'm trying to encode a TV series to XviD. Every episode of the season, up to the 14th, had a fixed width set at 624, and came out at 624x352 with an AR of 1.77. Episode 14 however, with the same 624 fixed width, encoded at 624x272 with an AR of 2.29. The video isn't getting squashed up, the bottom is missing - this is clearly visible in the opening credits, as you can see the text being chopped off.
I can't figure out why this is occuring? I've tried updating AutoGK, re-ripping the vobs, restarting the program, nothing worked. However in PowerDVD the vobs play normally - i.e the bottom isn't cut off. Something about the file is causing autoGK to automatically crop off the bottom 70 pixels.
Why is this occuring? Is there a way to force it to not crop? Thanks

Well I resolved it. Hitting control+F9 to bring up the hidden settings, then adjusting autocrop to scan 50 frames (up from 10) got it to encode at 624x352, as it should.
