    Wondering if someone could help

Have 3 episodes on one dvd and have created menu in DVD Author. I have cut a small portion from one of the titles to use as a motion menu and select this as background image however when i play the dvd it does not move despite enabling motion menus for 40 seconds.

The only thing I can do is play the background image in DVD author and when I pause it thats the background image I get if that makes sense. Is there a straightforward solution to this. The Movie files is m2v created using TMPGENC.

    Thanks

Don't use the pause button when reviewing the file when you load it up. If you pause it on a frame, TDA assumes you want that still frame to show. Press the Stop button after reviewing it and it should play the whole way through.

Ok tried the above and didnt pause on the thing

When i double click the mv2 file it automatically pops up a small movie player am I supposed to hit play then close it or just close it without doing anything?

this time i opened the file, player opened, i closed it and burned my dvd i can vaguely see the 1st frame which is supposed to be a word rotating forward but there is no motion. There is motion on the thumbnails but nothing on the main menu.

    Any Ideas?

    Cheers

I usually play a little of it, just to make sure it's OK. Then I press the Stop button. This usually works. What settings have you set in the motion menu tab of the menu display settings?

Edit: Damn slow machine, you posted while I was typing. Glad you got it working.
