Any DVD I burn with my new Sony DWG120A works great in any stand alone DVD player. However, I have tried playing them on 6 different PCs and they all read "blank disc". I've tried several different types and brands of media. Huh? Anyone ever heard of this before?

The frontiers of our mind are the last place we find, but maybe the first place we should look.

The Sony DWG120A is a rebadged Liteon 165P6S. Your problem may (Keyword = May) be related to an issue that has plagued some LiteOn 5S/6S generation owners for months now. Take a few minutes and read thru this thread:

I am not positive this has anything to do with your problem. I own a 165H6S which is similar and mine has never exhibited many of the reported symptoms/issues mentioned in that thread. I do use the experimental firmware that is mentioned and was an early tester volunteer. Two CDFreaks posters in that thread (Karr and Wind) are LiteOn employees. Karr was the author of Kprobe for those interested in his credentials.
Several threads relating to your drive type are contained in the LiteOn forum at CDFreaks. Good luck.
