What TV - brand, model, features ?
What DVD - brand, model ?
What setings do you normally use on your player ?

Sorry about the questions, but it being Sunday morning where I am, my crystal ball just isn't working.

Try taking one of your problematic NTSC DVDs to a shop that sells your brand of TV, if not the same model, and your DVD player brand, if not the same model. Unless your TV and DVD are too old, try to find the same models.
At the shop, try playing your DVD in the same DVD player connected to a different TV and in a different DVD player connected to the same TV.

Borrow a friend's NTSC-compliant DVD player (if they have one) and see if it will play your NTSC DVDs on your TV. Take your DVD player to a friend's house and see if you can play your DVDs with your player on their TV.

Try different combinations to see if you can duplicate the behavior and narrow it down to being either a DVD player that has problems with NTSC or a TV that has problems with NTSC. Or maybe both.

Read the manual and set it up correctly would be the best bet. That said, I can't find many references to that brand of TV, so maybe it just doesn't do what you want. Maybe you need to find a local repairer and take it into to him to have it setup correctly.
