    I am unable to install DVDSubedit versions 1.0 and up. Lower versions (0.61, 0.62 ) install without problem. Trying to install any version 1.0 or higher immediately generates an error message and installation stops.

    My system is P3-866 with Win98SE.

    What could be the reason?

    Gosh golly gee, ya think the actual text of the error message might be useful in diagnosing the problem?
