Using Nero I burned 4 avi video clips into CD/R and played it in my dvd player (Philips DVP642/37) DIVX it did gave me a picture but with no audio. I'm trying to play AVI in my dvd player since it supports DIVX. I do have Virtual dub but I dont know how to encode it to get the audio. I do know that if I convert AVI to VCD it will work fine but i dont wanna do that since my dvd supports AVI. So what are my options what should I do to make this work? I dont have a dvd player I'm using CD/R.

    Thanks

One possibility is the audio is not interleaved in your avi clips. The reason is explained in the VDub Help/Audio interleaving.

Open a clip in VirtualDub and select direct stream copy for video and audio. It will creat a new file with the audio interleaved.

    Just a thought,
