which way to connect up my dvd recorder

please can someone help me? I have been trying to set up my dvd recorder so I can put onto dvd everything I have on sky + hard drive but I just cant get the configuration. I am something of a simpleton where this stuff is so if someone knows can you keep it simple. in case anyone can help this is what I have

Sony LCD TV with 2 scart sockets(one labelled smart link)

sky + box with 2 scart sockets

cheapo dvd recorder (matsuiDVDR100) also with 2 scart sockets

if anyone knows which permutation to use i will be thankful( could you also specify if poss if it should be scart in or out as well on each connection)

Sky+ box Scart 1 to TV Scart 1
DVD Recorder Scart 1 to TV Scart 2
Sky+ box Scart 2 to DVD Recorder Scart 2

Use fully wired 21 way Scart leads for all connections. To record from the Sky+ box, you'll need to select Line 2 (or AV2 or whatever it is labeled as) on the DVD Recorder. If you select AV2 as the input on your TV, you should be able to watch what you are recording. I say should, because not all units passthrough between Scarts when in operation.
