  1. Hi.

Re: How can i squeeze double the amount of contents on to one disc

With dvd recorders you can put 6 to 8 hours on a 4.7gb disc

Is there a tool or a way i can do this on a pc.

    Thanks to all that reply.

Any good mpeg2 encoder supports it like tmpgenc xpress, tmpgenc, mainconcept mpeg encoder, canopus procoder. You lower the video bitrate so it will fit, you can calculate it using a bitrate calculator or use the wizard mode in tmpgenc to get correct size. It is also recommended to use lower resolution/image size, like 352x240/480.

6-8 hours on a dvd is too much in my opinion. Use resolution of 352x480 and dont go over 4 hours. IMO I wouldnt go over 2 hrs but thats personal choice. DVD discs are cheap, use more
