If this doesn't work, https://forum.videohelp.com/topic350554.html#1848070 then something is downright wrong with the disc. I have been luck thus far, and have been able to retrieve "lost" video DVD's from my standalone recorder. Apparently, some people aren't able to do this with the free functionality of IsoBuster, depending on what recorder they used.

  4. Hi.

Someone had recorded a documentary for me

The disc used was that crap media with the clapper board design on it.

    What about using another drive?

Not very helpful for your problem, but try looking at another ISO reader software

I used ISOBuster for a very long time, but it had issues sometimes so I used to use two different software packages, with ISOBuster being the main one and the other when ISOBuster couldn't handle it

I now use UltraISO Premium, after trying MagicISO as well and haven't used ISOBuster since, ULtraISO Premium reads everything that ISOBuster can and images that ISOBuster struggled to read correctly

Plus, if you look via Google you might find a 'portable' version of UltraISO Premium. This means that it will happily run from a USB pendrive or you don't need to install it. It will run from anywhere you create the folder

I use portable software on my USB pendrive I carry to help sort our peoples computer problems. No need to install anything on a damaged system, it all runs off the pendrive
