On the installation instructions, it says you need the Apple mpeg2 player component to decode with Quicktime. Apple is charging $20 for it, but I was able to use the decode with Quicktime function (with letterboxing) without the mpeg2 player component... Am I missing something? Is there a way to determine that I am actually decoding using Quicktime?
Any insight is appreciated.
