its a random problem that might not be fixable but...
I used this program called "XSlimmer" to trim down some application sizes (in OS X)
after doing so I can't convert files using the "Decode with quicktime" option, the image is slightly off, and the color of the video is red and greenish. I tired re-installing quicktime, ffmpeg x and the binaries and still nothing. (I need to use the decode with quicktime because it fixes the fast video / slow audio problem with some videos).
Anyway I doubt anyone has had this problem. But it seems I can't fully erase Quicktime, even if I use something like AppZapper, when I go to re-install it'll just say "Upgrade" and not install the application.

I'm getting the same problem. Seems to have occurred since the update to 10.4.10 or perhaps it was the new version of Quicktime.
So now, I'm stuck. If I leave off the "Decode with Quicktime" I get audio sync issues, if I turn it on I get a screwy picture.
FFMPegX has been truely awesome so far... one of the first bits of software I registered after switching, so thanks!
