Hi all,
Just got my first High Definition equipment, but am having a small problem with it.
Equipment is:
LG RH7900H DVD + HDD Recorder with HDMI out (HDCP)
Philips 26PF4310 LCD TV with DVI In (HDCP)
Profigold HDMI-A to DVI-D Dual Link Cable
I've hooked the recorder up to the TV using the HDMI to DVI dual link cable. Everything is fine until I try to watch a shop bought DVD when the HDCP kicks in and the picture shows for 1 second, then goes black for 4 seconds repeatadly.
It works fine playing non-copy protected DVD's (magazine ones, and home authored)
Would using a single link cable fix the HDCP problem? Any other suggestions?
Thanks,
NiVZ

Figured it out!!
It was the HDCP protection, but I found the remote code to disable it.
Everything is working fine now.
