    Hi there,

Quite often... I download or receive downloaded video files (anime) in different formats (avi, ogm, mkv, etc). Now and again, one or 2 of the files are corrupt. Is there any tool I can use to scan through the video file to determine if the file is corrupt or not? I'm especially interested in something that can 'batch' run the scan over multiple video files. Especially ogm and mkv formats.

    Thanx,

VirtualDub Mod can do some of that, at least AVI and I believe OGM. Not sure about MKV. Batching, I don't know.

    Ok, have downloaded it.

Where exactly would I pickup the errors?
I just opened up a file in VMD and the first thing I see in large text is:

Warning: Nothing to output - BFrame decoder lag
    Is that an error?

How dow VMD report errors and what ones would indicate to me that the file is corrupt?
