  1. i already asked this question in the Conversion forum but got a couple of sarcastic remarks from a user,
So,to avoid this unhelpful rude ***hole I'm trying again in the Newbie section.
Before I explain I should say that I have read the Help article many times and did exactly what is asked and still i'm getting no results.
My goal is to end up with a full screen video.
First of all I have an AVI Divx which I loaded into TMPGE.
The audio would'nt encode so I then saved the audio as a WAV then proceeded to load it back in again .
The AVI is a 576 x 256 NTSC Film (or at least.I think it is because I could not do the Windows Media Player Test as suggested..iepen View/Statistics..mmm).
So,after loading the appropriate template i then open the Advanced tab and entered Aspect Ratio of 1:1 and under Video Arrange..No Margin(keep aspect ratio).
Which is what is suggested if you want a full screen movie.(I know it cuts of a bit right and left).Anyway, after setting up as mentioned I do a quick test and the screen is still the exact same in its original wide screen format.
Now,maybe I'm missing something but I'm sure I've done everything as per the instructions.
Please assist keeping in mind that I'm a relative nebie to this.
    Thanks

  3. No...in fact I've tried them all.....Full,Full(keep asp rat),Ful(keep asp rat 2), and No Margin(keep asp rat).
They all have the same end result.
