    I Have been having issues with my JVC DVD player lately. It plays some discs fine and then some it gets blocky and sometimes just plain freezes. I then put that same movie in my laptop dvd player and it plays no problem at all. Is there soemthing wrong with my JVC player? I have been using Ridata DVD-R all along but recently the problems have been getting more frequent.

    Cheap media. Ritek is not a very good disc, there are better.
