    I am trying to use the following AVISynth 2.5 script in VirtualDub1.6.10

    v1=DirectShowSource("C:\My Documents\My Pictures\capture\smallpox1.mpg")
    v2=DirectShowSource("C:\My Documents\My Pictures\capture\smallpox.mpg")
    StackHorizontal(v1,v2)
    ConvertToRGB32

    But, when I try it (or any other script) I get the following:

    AVI IMPORT FILTER ERROR: (UNKNOWN) (80040154)

    In the past I had no trouble, but, this time I have no clue to what is wrong

    Any thoughts

    and is it mpeg2 or mpeg1?
