Burning with Nero Vision strange behaviour

I have met a strange behaviour of Nero which cost me 2 distroyed DVD disks. I prepared a DVD project with Nero vision and burned it on DVD-RW, checked everything OK on stand-alone player. I was satisfied and copy DVD-RW to DVD-R. DVD-R was not playable. Thinking it is a media problem repeated the action. Same result. Finally I burned the project from Nero Vision directly to DVD-R. This time everything was OK.
DVD-R media was of the same label.
Any idea why it is happening?

guess would be possible read problem off the rw's, especially if trying to copy optical drive to optical drive.

Burn layout to HD, then just burn from layout if good?

May be, but I think it is a Nero problem because it is not copyng on the fly, I have only one optical drive. I will not use Nero Vision anymore.

never use nero for copy a DVD..!!

use CLONE DVD from www.elby.ch

it is the best software for copy a DVD...!!

I tested Clone DVD wich is a good but preferes Alcohol anyway.
