    How is that so difficult with Vdub? Append your segments then save.

    Don't change what I said. I said QUICK not difficult, and I stand by what I said. To join an AVI split into 30 parts with VDub requires you to select the 29 parts to be appended to the first one separately one after the other in 29 separate steps. Not difficult but very slow to do. Using Easy Video Joiner you just select all 30 parts with CTRL+A and hit JOIN.

    The OP's request was about the "quickest" way to join AVI files.

    In Virtualdub you only need to append part 2, and parts 3-30 will be automatically appended so long as the files are named sequentially by ticking the "autodetect additional segments" tickbox on the bottom of the Open dialog.

    ... and that Easy Video Joiner is shite !
