    Hi,

    How can I convert movie trailers in the Quicktime mov format to a format that will allow me to watch them on my DVD player...?? Thanks for any help...

    Look to your left <- See the menu item 'Tools' ?
    Click on that. Use the Select Conversion Feature drop down to select MOV To . . . and search. Look at the ratings, and have a go.

    thanks...I remember I did it before using TMPGenc and having Quicktime installed.....its just I can't find the guide again

    You could remux to mp4 to avoid issues, then just use AVISynth with directshowsource() to frameserve to your favourite encoder or try loading directly if it supports input via dshow (TMPGEnc does). Apple's AVC decoder is much slower than CoreAVC, Nero's, ffdshow, etc. So encoding that way should be much faster.

    Could also just feed the mp4 into something like DivXtoDVD. The mov may also work, the video definatly should, but the audio probably won't since it is stored differently in mov to mp4.
