    Hi all,
I noticed when I watch a backed up dvd the sound is very low. I am currently using XP, nero and dvd decrypter. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I have searched this site and asked friends a few questions but with no luck.

    Thanks

if you are making a backup of the dvd and havent re-encoded anything the audio/video should be the same as the source. what is the exact process you are using?

Sound is low on dvd player haven't tried the PC.

The exeact process I'm using is to use dvd decrypter which is saved to HD. I then use nero to burn. I have not played with any settings in decrypter or nero. Is this correct or do you need more info?

    cheers

If you don't need to reduce the size of the disk, use DVD Decrypter in ISO mode (Mode, ISO->Read) to copy the disc, then again to burn the new copy (Mode, ISO->Write).

If you are using Nero to reduce the size of the disc it *might* be screwing with it in some way, but again, it depends what you are doing.

Also when using Nero access fom all programs list NOT quick start, and be sure to choose DVD Video.
