Hi, Im new to this forum..I have a big problem I hope you guys can help me.

I have 4 avi (divx) files, each of 700 mb I want to put them all on one dvd-r of 4.7 gb and 120 min.
and watch them at my home dvd player, my home dvd player can't read divX files..so I want to convert it to DVD (vob files) I tried it with DVDsanta. I selected every file and then I burned the dvd-r with dvdSanta also.. aqt my dvd player in my computer I can watch the dvd-r fine and when I try to watch it at my home dvd player I get problems with the second and fourth avi file .. when the dvd player is trying to read it the scene stops automatically after 5 seconds, the same happens with all the other scenes/chapters of the second and fourht avi file.

I'm using a demo version of DVDsanta... maybe thats why I can't

also I tried with virtualdub putting the files together but when I do it I get very weird results like the third avi file comes first and then comes the second and sometimes I see the credits in the beginning....
also with cucusoft I get an error when I tryn opening files... also with winavi converter with that I get a bad result only the first 2 avi files are converted not the other two....

at the moment Im trying to convert them with dvdsanta but burn them into a dvd-r with DVDfab...I hope it works..

could SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME..I tried like everything for the past 2 weeks...

And convert the files separately (using a bitrate calculator to divide up the size right), THEN author it properly with a DVD author package. You're looking for a one-click solution to a complicated problem, and that ain't gonna happen.

I'd need more information about the source (in particular, their codecs used, running times, frame sizes and bitrates) before I could give any specific advice apart from what the two above me have said.
    If in doubt, Google it.
