I converted an NTSC DVD to .avi and I face problems with audio out of sync. As I was searching for a reason I noticed that the DVD source was in 29970 fps but Megui converted the output .avi file to 23.976 fps.

Can Somebody help me on how to maintain the same fps as the DVD source? (I guess that this is the problem for the audio being out of sync).

    Thanks in advance.

  2. My advice will be to first check if the sync issue is caused by the fps of the video or a simple delay.
Check if the delay of the audio is consistent or progressive throughout the video.

    The audio delay is consistent.

  4. If you are sure the delay is consistent and does not increase throughout the video then you can try playing around with the delay of the audio.
Normally MeGUI would have got the correct delay settings for the audio when you index the .VOB file.

O.K. I understood but I have audio delay in the output, not the DVD source. When the audio is extracted from the source there is no delay.

furthermore, I tried to convert the output .avi file to the same fps as the source (29.970 fps). But after conversion the video duration was 1h 15 min whereas the source video duration is 1h 34min.

My fault, the audio delay is not consistent. When the movie starts the audio is in perfect sync with the video but halfway through the movie appears an audio delay.

    Any ideas???
