    Anyone here know how and what program to use to rip Karaoke discs so they can be used in the Karaoke player?

    CD+G or DVD? CD+G require a specific CD Rom that reads CD+G. DVD is ripped as usual.

    Probably need to rip it as an image in Nero or something (disc juggler, Alc 120% etc)


    What have you tried so far?


    Copy it as a data disc, but you have to make sure that the file layout and structure are changed, like alphabetizing files that shouldn't be in that order.

    Ripped it as an image and did a disc to disc, now I have to karaoke cd's
    Not cd+g. Used toast for the mac and nero for my pc. -garman

    I am lost with macs.


    Try the discjuggler demo, but I am not sure, if it will work.


    What is on the disc when you explore it?

    If they are CD+G, you will need a CD-ROM drive that reads CD+G discs. Otherwise, all you'll get is audio.

    Thanks! , I wonder if you need the same burner to make cd+g or is it you can just rip with the below mentioned drives and burn with a non compatible drive- garman
