Missing after compile in dvdlab pro

hey I making a dvd using dvdlab pro
I made my menu and placed all my links added a motion menu from a thumnail from the video. then compile the dvd
and when I play the dvd the links dont change color when highlighted (and yes I do have it set so that they should) so you cant see where you are selected but the llinks do work and send you to the right places
anyone else have a similar problem
I know its probably just some over sight
but any ideas would be great

Are your buttons under the number 1, 2, or 3 group?

Is the color transparent or opaque?

Try changing all 3 groups for each normal, selected, and pressed category to the same colors and opacity and try again. You can test it right in dvdlab before compiling. On the far left of the icons there's a play button that will simulate the menu. Just hit the stop button to exit it after.

oh it all works fine when I test it in dvdlab
its only after the compile it gets messed up

Are you testing the disk on your comp using a program such as powerdvd or did you burn to disk and is it behaving that way on your dvd player?

I've never heard of this before...

its when I test it on my pc
I test other dvd I made with motion menu and they all work fine

I'll start from scratch and see what happens

should I add all my buttons and links after I make my motion menu?

I've experienced Highlights not working in programs like VideoLAN. But they are fine in PowerDVD or on my settop player.

ah I think what I did wrong was add the buttons and links after setting a motion menu
I added them first this time around and it turned out fine
